10 Years of WriteTouch

WriteTouch began in 2016 as a deeply personal extension of the work I was already doing—supporting nonprofits from the inside as an in-house grant writer. At the time, the focus was simple: help organizations secure funding and move their work forward.

I was using every skill I had, stepping in where support was needed, and learning in real time alongside the organizations I served.

Over the years, that work grew. Through grants and fundraising efforts, the organizations I partnered with have collectively raised more than $18 million to support their programs and communities. But alongside that growth, something deeper began to emerge.

I started to see a pattern. Funding alone wasn’t the challenge—structure was. Leadership, governance, clarity, and systems were often the very things determining whether an organization could truly sustain and expand its impact.

That realization shifted everything.

WriteTouch evolved from a focus on grant writing into something more foundational: helping nonprofit leaders build strong, aligned organizations from the inside out. The work became less about chasing funding and more about creating the conditions that make meaningful, lasting growth possible.

Today, that philosophy is at the heart of everything I do:

You don’t scale chaos. You structure clarity.

Ten years in, the work continues to deepen. What began as a service has grown into a practice rooted in partnership, intention, and long-term impact—supporting organizations not just in what they do, but in how they are built to endure.

As WriteTouch celebrates its ten-year milestone, I am evolving the brand to reflect the depth of the work it now holds.

How the Work Shaped the Brand

As WriteTouch reaches its ten-year milestone, I find myself reflecting not just on how the work has grown, but on how it has shaped everything around it.

In the early years, what I created was bold, expressive, and full of energy. I was building something new, learning in real time, and showing up wherever support was needed. The identity reflected that moment. It was vibrant, intuitive, and deeply personal.

Over time, something began to shift.

The work deepened. My understanding of what organizations truly needed became clearer. I started to see that lasting impact required more than effort. It required structure, alignment, and intention.

As that clarity grew, the brand began to evolve alongside it. The colors softened. The forms became more grounded. What was once expressive became more intentional, reflecting not just where I was, but what I was learning.

Today, WriteTouch holds both of those truths. The boldness of where it began and the depth of what it has become. Every element now carries meaning. The work, the identity, and the purpose are fully aligned.

What you see below is a glimpse into that journey.
